8FT 6IN SAILING PRAM

I built the sailing pram 'Porgy' Design #195 in 2013 as a tender to fit the foredeck of the sailing vessel Corozon.  It is an intricate piece of work, double planked white cedar on bent frames, full glued and epoxy sealed.  It is featured in the book Plans & Dreams Vol II.  Dimensions are 8ft 6ins overall x 4ft 4ins beam x 132 lbs weight.  It carries a sprit rig of 33 sq ft. It has been well maintained in the years since and is now available for sale for $5000.  Lying Rhode Island.

37FT Motor Sailer 'Rain Bear' SUBTANTIAL PRICE REDUCTION fEBRUARY 2023

The 37ft Motor sailer Rain Bear was built to plan #108 over a period of many years by very talented builders.  It is one of the most spectacular pieces of workmanship I have seen, a true masterpiece of the boat builders art. Rugged construction combined with durable exterior finishes and outstanding interior finish work make this a very special boat.

It was designed with PNW cruising in mind and in particular the 1000 mile run from the Straits of Georgia through central and northern BC and on up the panhandle of SE Alaska.  These are some of the most spectacular and challenging cruising grounds to be found anywhere.  They demand an all-weather boat with long range capability under power and the ability to make use of favourable winds on the outer coast especially.   This boat will place that and much more at the disposal of a new owner.

Vessel is lying Sidney, B.C. Canada.

20FT CUTTER DESIGN #101 PART BUILD

This hull has been well built and finished to the specs of the original design. The hull is complete with the lead ballast attached. Due to changes in the builders circumstances it is offered for sale.

The boat is currently lying in a boatyard in Maine and is available either for completion by the boatyard or a buyer.

Package includes a new diesel engine and several spars. A fibreglass mold taken off the wooden prototype is also available.

This is an interesting opportunity for enthusiasts of small traditional cutters.

22FT Cutter Lady Jana (ex Surprise)

We built this small cutter some twenty years ago for our own use and sailed it extensively on the west coast of British Columbia, including a circumnavigation of Vancouver Island and several trips through SE Alaska. She holds a special place in our affections.

She has spent the past ten years on Lake Erie in Pennsylvania where she has been meticulously cared for by a genuine wooden boat enthusiast. The boat comes fully equipped, including twin cylinder diesel auxiliary and a custom-built twin axle trailer for road transport and storage.

She awaits her next happy owner, further adventures, and perhaps a return to salt water?

Price US$60,000
