This little boat is a real favourite and probably one of the best I have ever done in terms of fitness for purpose and the pleasure derived from building and usage.

9 ft 6 in Yacht Tender Design #104
Two small boats intended for use as tenders for larger vessels of very similar dimension and identical in construction. One is transom sterned; the other is a double-ender.

13 ft 6 in Clinker Rowboat Design #86
This is a nice example of a standard issue English clinker rowboat. It is boat building in its purest and most challenging form and will appeal to those most absorbed by the process of building itself. The boat is suitable for any manner of pleasure use, and although not fast, it is a safe and stable little craft and a beautiful shape.

15 ft Flashboat
This is an old design but a very successful one. It was developed as a racing skiff in the days when we were young and foolish, but has since proved to be a delightful boat for just messing around in.

16 ft Open Water Cruising Skiff "Bob" Design #115
"Bob" represents the culmination of much thought and experience with open water rowboats. Her proportions, shape and weight are as close to ideal as I can make them for a beach cruiser. She is light and fast and a delight to row with either one or two rowers.

20ft Pedal Boat "Blue Skies", Design #92
"Blue Skies" is an oddball little boat that we built several years ago with and for our oddball friend Bill Hayward. Bill got hooked by the idea of pedal power after many years of rowing and was looking for a boat to do some long distance cruising.

12 ft Sailing Dinghy "Riff", Design #136
The 12 ft. sailing dinghy "Riff" was built in our shop in 2004. Construction is strip planked western red cedar sheathed with 6 oz. glass inside and out. Simple construction and basic skill requirements make this an ideal starter project for the home builder.

14 ft Lapstrake Sailing Dinghy "Skylark", Design #107
Skylark's owner lives near a river mouth on the Oregon coast. He wanted a boat for day sailing in the estuary, with occasional forays into the ocean.

Yaquina Bay One-Design "Swansong", Design #146
The 14 ft. sailing dinghy "Swansong" was built in our shop in 2005. Construction is traditional clinker, using western red cedar on bent oak frames, copper fastened throughout. Decks are double skin red cedar sheathed with a light glass cloth.
